C.J. Sailor currently serves as the Director of Faith Partnerships for Stand Together, a philanthropic community that partners with a diverse group of changemakers, including thousands of nonprofit leaders, Fortune 50 CEOs and philanthropists, NFL legends, civil rights leaders, Grammy-winning musicians, and grassroots policy activists.
With a strong background in community engagement, C.J. has held significant roles in public service. He was the Director of Community Engagement in the Office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth in Governor Glenn Youngkin's Administration. C.J.'s commitment to education is evident in his role as the Director of Programs and Development for The Gloucester Institute, an educational nonprofit that trains and develops the nation's next generation of African American leaders.
C.J. is a Detroit native who earned his B.A. in Political Science from Morehouse College. He is an Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Henrico Chapter member, serving on the Board of Southside Community Development and Housing Corporation. C.J. is married to Chelsea Sailor, a small business owner, and resides in Chesterfield County with his family.
