Carolina Espinal is the Founding Principal of Mozaic Strategies, an advisory working to support the creation of more inclusive culture in and outside the workplace.

As a senior advisor to leaders in political, advocacy, and corporate organizations, Ms. Espinal delivers insight-driven knowledge and experience to inform strategies for communications, stakeholder engagement and thought leadership. Her dynamic expertise in Diversity & Inclusion, Public Affairs and Reputation Management, combined with a passion for community - in all its forms, are the hallmarks of her solutions-focused approach to helping clients reach their goals.

Most recently, Ms. Espinal was a senior advisor at Brunswick Group, a global strategic communications advisory, where she led the Inclusion & Diversity practice. She began her career as a civil rights advocate working on behalf of communities of color at Unidos US and later leading the NAACP’s national civic engagement policy platform.

Ms. 
Espinal received a B.A. in Foreign Affairs and Latin American Studies in 2000 from the University of Virginia, and an Ed.M. with a concentration in Administration, Planning, and Social Policy from Harvard University in 2003.

Ms. Espinal resides in the metropolitan Washington, DC area.
